What it does
Log everyday expenses by category. See the running total today, this week, this month, or year to date. Filter to drill into a specific category or date range. Attach a receipt photo when you want one.
How it works
Tap to add. Enter the amount, pick a category, optionally add a note. From the same form you can attach a photo of the receipt: it’s stored on your device only, alongside the expense. Long-press to edit or delete.
Why it’s here
The privacy-first alternative to bank-linking apps like Mint or YNAB. Expenses doesn’t connect to anything. You type in what you spent; the app does the math. Receipts attach in seconds and don’t leave the phone, so a year-end audit doesn’t mean a year of paper. Shares the same 12 categories as Budget, so if you use both, they line up.
